November 2015

November 1, 2015 - Samuel was chosen as a finalist for a Radon Poster contest for the state of Utah.  He was chosen out of 700 entries.  He received an honorable mention for his poster.  He did such a great job on his poster.

 November 7, 2015 - Jane is already to go to her ballet class.  It is every Saturday morning.  She gets to take ballet with her cousin Hazel Brookes and they are taught by a great woman named Kirsti Vogeler.  Jane absolutely loves going to her class.

 November 7, 2015 - Our first karaoke night here in Utah.  It took us a while to finally get a karaoke and fondue party organized, planned and executed.  It is safe to say that I think everyone had a fantastic time.  This is likely the first of many karaoke parties.  The girls all took a turn to sing.

 Of course the boys had to have a turn too.  I think they sang "Everything is Awesome" from the Lego movie.  James Taylor put the music all together for this evening and he did an outstanding job.  So much fun.

 November 16, 2015 - Visiting with the Cavallini crew (and nanny Evelyn).  Stefano, Isabella, Alessia, JeanCarlo, Olivia and Jane.

 Samuel has really excelled in his piano playing lately.  He is currently working on a piece called Claire de Lune - November 19, 2015.

 George was able to participate in a musical play that some second graders were in.  It was called Momotaro.  George played a farmer and a villager.  They all worked very hard on this play and we were so proud of George and the parts that he played - even though he had suddenly become very sick.  Right after the play finished we went home and he went straight to bed and was down/sick for three days.

November 26, 2015 - Annual Thanksgiving Day tradition of tossing the newspaper.  This year we hosted Thanksgiving at our house.  We were happy to have Angie and Donna stay the night and spend some fun time with us.  We love our family.

October 3, 2015 - Jane started ballet class with Kirsti Vogeler in Lehi Utah.  She was so excited and just loved every minute of it.  Especially because her cousin Hazel is in class with her.

 October 4, 2015 - The Adling family came to stay with us for conference weekend.  It was sure a lot of fun having them around again. We really miss them.

 October 9, 2015 - Waiting at the county building as we apply for our passports so we can visit my parents in Denmark.  We are super excited.

 Ben did a lot of work building the vinyl fence around mom and dad's yard.  It looks so nice too!

 October 23, 2015 - Hazel and Jane helped me plant over 100 bulbs in mom's backyard.

 October 24, 2015 - The yard is really coming together.  We all worked hard to get the job done.  The boys put in a sprinkler system too.  

 October 25, 2015 - Jane wanted me to curl her hair.  It is sure pretty and is getting really long.

 October 27 - Halloween pictures taken at our ward Halloween carnival.  Jane was a candy corn witch (for the third year), George was Pac-Man, and Samuel was Saesee Tiin from Star Wars.

 October 28, 2015 - Samuel and I had the opportunity to meet the author of "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library", Chris Grabenstein during an authors panel at the Provo City Library.  It was a pretty fun night.  Samuel was able to ask Mr. Grabenstein what inspired him to write Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library.  

 October 30, 2015 - Nina and Vianna Tanner joined me, Jane, and Hazel at Jaker's pumpkin patch in Springville.  We had such a fun time.  We took a hayride, played in a big corn kernel box, went down big black slides, and climbed a haystack pyramid.  We will definitely go back next year.
