Moss is a fungi: August 2015

August 7-10, 2015 - Family vacation to Redfish Lake Idaho to celebrate Angie's 50th birthday! It was an amazing trip with lots of fun and memories as well as beautiful mountains, lake, and other scenery. We loved being with Jim's family too. It is not very often that we all get together and we had a blast.

It was a bit chilly in the evenings at Redfish Lake, but so beautiful!

It rained so hard the night we were camping in a tent. Fortunately our tent held up pretty good with only minor leaking. We weren't sure if it would clear up but we stuck it out and the sun came out and it was beautiful.

Uncle Ron rented this fun little boat and took us on a ride around the lake.

On our way home from Idaho, we stopped at Craters of the Moon and walked around a bit. The scenery was so fun with dark rocks, old lava, etc.

August 11, 2015 - Jane got her face painted like a kitty cat at the UVRMC employee appreciation evening at the scera shell.

August 12, 2015 - A day at the park with the Provo Mayor. This was a chance for kids to come and meet and play with Mayor Curtis. There were booths all around the park from various departments in the city (i.e. power, fire station, recycling, etc.). The kids also had a chance to play in the water fountain/splash pad with the Mayor. The kids all had a great time and I think the Mayor did too.

August 15, 2015 - Surprise 50th Birthday party for Darren Green. We all met at the church near the Green's house and we were all quiet and then Darren came in to the dark gym and we all said "Surprise!". He was surprised. Darren is a great guy and I am glad that we had the chance to celebrate with him.

August 17, 2015 - Stephanie came to visit so we headed up to the Aquarium in Draper.

August 19, 2015 - First day of Second Grade for George.

First day of Fifth Grade for Samuel.

August 22, 2015 - we road the front runner up to Salt Lake City with Stephanie. We stopped at the Clark Planetarium and had lots of fun.

August 29, 2015 - Laurelee ran a relay race and the ending was at the Kiwanis Park in Provo, so the family went to congratulate her! Way to go Laurelee!
